Are you looking for things to do during the spring/summer for your kids, grandkids, cousins, friends, etc? Nothing beats a program that is 98% hands on learning.
Maple Ridge Farm will be hosting learning programs specifically designed for those ages 6-18. Riders will learn safety, horse care, play games, crafting, teamwork, independency, and progressing their riding skills. Whether you're new to horses or have some familiarity, no prior experience is required. These programs offer a chance to learn, observe, and understand in a relaxed, environment designed to be both educational and enjoyable.
If your child is not wearing appropriate attire during the program, they are not allowed to participate in HORSE-RELATED activities.
A liability form is required to participate.
Come experience what its like on an active horse farm in the morning! Each student will attempt and execute certain chores that are performed on a normal day. That could be collecting eggs, feeding all of our animals, and learning how to clean stalls.
A breakfast will be provided.

Ages 10 and up

Whether grooming, feeding, or riding, participants build meaningful bonds with horses while enjoying a break from screens and daily routines.
