Personal Growth Through Coaching
Coaching is a one-to-one process and a relationship between an individual and a coach with specific objectives and goals focused on developing potential, improving relationships, and enhancing performance. Coaches honor the client as the expert in his or her life and work and believe every client is creative, resourceful and whole. Standing on this foundation, the coach's responsibility is to:
- Discover, clarify, and align with what the client wants to achieve.
- Encourage client self-discovery. Elicit client-generated solutions and strategies.
- Hold the client responsible and accountable.
This process helps clients dramatically improve their outlook on work and life, while improving their leadership skills and unlocking their potential.

deborah Voyt
Deborah Voyt, Ph.D., is a certified Equine Guided Learning (EGL) facilitator and executive coach, published author, speaker, university instructor, teacher, consultant, and entrepreneur. Deb had more than 30 years working in multinational organizations as a global leader in operations, organizational development, human resource management, and compensation. In addition to her broad-based industry background and global expertise in compensation, Deb coaches executives, leaders, professionals, and teams to higher levels of performance. Her clients include individual and organizational clients in Fortune 50 multinationals, mid-sized companies, and non-profits.
Deb was awarded her Ph.D. in 2011 from Capella University in Organization and Management with a focus on Organizational Culture and Total Rewards. She received her BA from the University of Michigan and MBA from the University of Detroit-Mercy. Deb received her coaching certification from Coach University and serves on the Board of Directors for the ICF Michigan chapter. She also serves on the Education Committee for the Detroit SHRM organization and has her Senior Professional in Human Resource (SPHR) certification through Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). Additionally, Deb heads the Local Chapter for the WorldatWork and has received her CCP, GRP, and CBP certifications.Maple Ridge Farm farm provides a tranquil setting for individual and team-based experiential learning to enhance strengths, opportunities, and skills needed to become more effective individuals, leaders, and teams.
